Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or issues. Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading as necessary. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization. Qualifications Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience with commercial driving, particularly with box trucks, is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of packages weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills in urban and rural areas. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, including knowledge of loading/unloading procedures. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is beneficial. Forklift certification is a plus but not required; training can be provided.
