Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and commitment to excellence will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and dishes, supporting the kitchen's smooth operation, and ensuring every meal meets our rigorous safety and quality standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry expertise and grow within a fast-paced kitchen setting. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to standardized recipes and menu specifications Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and fryers Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients and utensils Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen areas through regular cleaning routines Assist with meal preparation for service, including slicing, chopping, portioning, and plating Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and ensure smooth workflow during busy periods Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food while adhering to quality standards Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and food preparation methods Familiarity with food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Ability to follow recipes precisely and adhere to menu planning guidelines Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen team members Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Basic understanding of culinary techniques, food handling, and sanitation regulations Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference! Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
