Job Description
Be part of a loyal and dynamic team and be a cook at a lovely senior living community. Work directly with the Executive Chef and a strong kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Menu planning and creating new dishes
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with catering events as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a chef/cook or in the food industry required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
