Cook Hermit Woods Winery & Eatery is an independently owned, rapidly growing company looking to make its mark on the culinary experience in Meredith. We want to expand our offerings and set the bar in our area for creative, high-quality, locally sourced-food. We are looking for a Line Cook who is motivated and looking to help us provide a unique high-end fine-casual food experience for our guests. We are open seven days a week, with hours varying from 11-6 to 11-9 with evening events. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Food Prep Properly labeling, dating, covering, and refrigerating prepared food items for the line Performing opening, closing & side duties Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, dish area, prep area Assisting with dishwashing and glass polishing as necessary Practicing safety and sanitation standards Having a sense of urgency Manages prep based on volume, rotation, and safety standards. Able to follow recipes and specifications Must have basic culinary knowledge
