About The Puddle Dock The Puddle Dock is a fine-dining, scratch kitchen featuring an American Colonial food profile , with a strong focus on thoughtful preparation, quality ingredients, consistency, and creating an exceptional dining experience while giving cooks the opportunity to learn from an experienced chef and continue developing their skills. We are currently looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team. What We're Looking For
  • Previous professional kitchen and line cook experience is required
  • Experience in a fine-dining or quality-driven kitchen is preferred
  • Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently and remain organized during busy service
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to consistency
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
  • Strong standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
  • A willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continue improving as a cook Job Duties
  • Prepare and execute dishes according to the chef's recipes, specifications, and presentation standards
  • Set up and maintain an organized, clean, and properly stocked station
  • Complete daily prep work accurately and efficiently
  • Cook and plate menu items consistently during service
  • Follow proper cooking techniques, portioning, and quality standards
  • Communicate with the chef and other members of the kitchen team throughout service
  • Maintain proper food handling, storage, labeling, and sanitation procedures
  • Monitor product quality and communicate prep or inventory needs
  • Assist with receiving, organizing, and properly storing ingredients
  • Keep work areas, equipment, and kitchen spaces clean and organized
  • Assist teammates as needed to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Follow opening, closing, and cleaning procedures
  • Learn and apply new techniques, preparations, and culinary knowledge provided by the chef If you take pride in your work, have previous professional kitchen experience, and genuinely want to become a stronger cook, we'd like to hear from you.
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
