As a vital member of the kitchen staff, you will play a key role in preparing delicious meals that delight our guests. Your culinary skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will ensure every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your food industry experience while working alongside talented chefs and kitchen professionals dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food preparation tools Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards Assist with food handling, slicing techniques, and meal preparation to support the culinary team's workflow Follow food safety management protocols to prevent contamination and ensure proper food storage practices Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service and ensure timely delivery of orders Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality control Experience Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred Demonstrated culinary experience with strong knife skills and slicing techniques Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and food industry best practices Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting Understanding of food safety standards in production, handling, and serving environments Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams
Pay:
$25.00 - $26.50 per hour
