Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food handling, with experience in various kitchen environments, including fine dining and catering. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests by preparing high-quality meals with attention to detail and creativity. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during service hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients. Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff as required. Experience Previous experience as a Cook in a restaurant, catering service, or fine dining establishment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation. Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen team.
