Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our Bogota press cafe team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals,sandwitchsthat meet the dietary needs of our clients while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary requirements. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Assist in catering events, providing high-quality food service to guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service and timely delivery of dishes. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Provide support to dietary aides in understanding meal options for clients with specific dietary needs. Qualifications Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and handling practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A passion for cooking and helping others through nutritious meal preparation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
