Fitz's Kitchen & Soda Co. is a new fast-casual restaurant opening in Historic Smithville, NJ, serving loaded fries, mac & cheese, hot dogs, chicken tenders, burgers, and specialty dirty sodas. We're building our opening team and looking for dependable Line Cooks who can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen and take pride in serving consistent, high-quality food. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to Fitz's recipes and standards Work fryers, flat top, hot holding, and food prep stations Assemble orders accurately and efficiently Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties Restock ingredients and communicate when products are running low Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team during busy service What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Able to stay organized during busy periods Restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting approximately 40-50 lb (18-23 kg) Schedule Fitz's will be open 7 days a week. Typical kitchen coverage will fall between approximately 10:00 AM-9:00 PM , with a mix of daytime, evening, weekday, and weekend shifts available. Weekend availability is strongly preferred.
