Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of short order meals according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is cooked properly, presented attractively, and served in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food prep stations and cooking equipment Follow food safety procedures diligently, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices Assist with menu planning and suggest daily specials to enhance guest experience Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a dietary aide within a restaurant or food service setting Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, catering, and fine dining environments is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Familiarity with the food industry's best practices for quality control and sanitation Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional food experiences!
