Job Description
Grill Cook / Line Cook The Belt | Quaker Bridge Mall — Lawrenceville, NJ $18-$20 per hour including tip share Required availability: 4:00 PM-10:00 PM The Belt is hiring a reliable Grill Cook / Line Cook to prepare smashburgers and support evening kitchen operations. We're looking for someone who shows up on time, keeps a clean station, and takes responsibility for their work. Please read before applying You must be available to work 4:00 PM-10:00 PM . You must have reliable transportation to and from work. Washing dishes is a required part of every shift. This position includes both cooking and dishwashing. Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential. Frequent avoidable callouts and no-shows do not meet the expectations of this role. What you'll do Cook smashburgers and other grill items to our standards. Maintain consistent portions, quality, and speed during service. Keep the grill, tools, and workstation clean, sanitized, and organized. Follow food safety, handwashing, and safe food handling procedures. Wash dishes, cookware, and utensils during part of each shift. Restock your station and complete kitchen cleaning and closing duties. Communicate clearly and work closely with the kitchen team. What we're looking for Previous restaurant grill or line cook experience. Smashburger and flat-top grill experience strongly preferred. Strong sanitation habits and pride in a clean kitchen. Dependability, punctuality, and steady work habits. Ability to follow instructions and stay organized during busy service. Willingness to contribute to cooking, dishwashing, and cleanup every day. Pay $18-$20 per hour including tip share . This is the total hourly earnings range, not the base wage before tips.
