Job Description

We are a fun, local neighborhood bar and restaurant looking for a cook to join our awesome team 3 Day shifts and 2 Night shift per week. Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9:30am to 5:30pm and Tuesday and Thursday 5:30pm to 2am. Our "kitchen" is behind the bar so you must be comfortable cooking in an open kitchen setting in front of the customers. Menu is simple and delicious can be viewed here: https://www.nipntuck.bar/menu. This is an opportunity to grow your role within our organziation as we continue to grow. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans- we are known for our amazing "upscale bar food" so presentation is big for us. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the cooking process- must have current ServSafe certification. Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality. Monitor food presentation to ensure it meets the restaurant's standards. Ability to pitch new menu items and ideas a plus! We love trying fun new takes on tried and true bar classics. Skills Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Experience in bar settings is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent food prep skills and proficiency with various kitchen equipment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members in the food service industry. Must have clean, put-together appearance and personal hygiene.
