Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Experience with breakfast, lunch , retail prepared meals and volume catering a plus. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and food processors Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to maintain a hygienic work environment Assist with meal preparation, portioning, and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances through regular cleaning and sanitation Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and meet service deadlines Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Skills Proven experience in food industry settings such as restaurants or catering environments Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production Excellent knife skills with slicing techniques for efficient ingredient preparation Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to specified portion sizes Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen team members Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide responsibilities is a plus Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment and maintaining high standards of cleanliness Knowledge of meal planning, food handling, and catering processes is desirable Join us if you're passionate about creating delicious meals in a vibrant team environment!
