Job Description

Prepare breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner for all areas serviced by Food Services as assigned by Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or First Cook. Performs necessary prep work to complete meals on daily basis and for next day's production needs. Responsible for the organization and sanitation of work areas. Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent or 3 to 5 years of work related experience in lieu of education and up to one year of basic technical training in food preparation. Certification required as a Food Handler from the City of Paterson or similar food safety certification; must obtain within 1 week of hire and maintain certification.
