The Highwood in Weehawken, New Jersey. HOSTS We are looking for a friendly, professional, and energetic host to join our restaurant team! Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred Excellent communication and people skills Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable and punctual Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be a team player with a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests, manage reservations and waitlists, answer phones, and assist with providing an excellent guest experience.

Pay:

$16 - $18 LINE COOKS Work with all other cooks to produce food orders Ensure all cooking techniques and plate presentations are being followed Ensures that the kitchen is clean and compliant with all regulatory requirements for food handling, sanitation, employment law and safety Be punctual, team player and motivated worker. Work with the Chef to ensure all food items are prepared to specs. Keep entire kitchen clean and sanitary throughout the shift.
