Job Description

Prep Cook - Fairview Social Fairview Social in Wildwood, NJ is looking for a dependable and hardworking Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is focused primarily on daily food preparation and helping keep the kitchen stocked and ready for service . We're looking for someone who is organized, works efficiently, and takes pride in keeping a clean and well-prepared kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients for daily lunch and dinner service Portion, cut, chop, slice, and prepare food according to recipes and standards Prepare sauces, dressings, vegetables, proteins, and other menu components Maintain proper labeling, dating, rotation, and food storage Restock and organize prep stations and walk-in coolers Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Maintain a clean and organized prep area Assist the kitchen team with additional tasks as needed

What We're Looking For:

Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred Reliable and punctual Able to work independently and stay on task Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to follow recipes and portioning standards Team-oriented attitude Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift typical kitchen inventory

Schedule:

Full-time or part-time opportunities available. Morning/daytime availability is preferred, with weekend availability required during busy periods.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
