Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of various dishes, ensuring high-quality meals are served to our customers. Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering other necessary items
• Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to recipes and guidelines
• Ensure food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
• Help with catering events as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
• Proficient knife skills for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
