Child Care Cook Watch Me Grow - 3.3 North Las Vegas, NV Job Details Full-time $15 - $17 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Paid training Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Serving Food production Food Safety Manager Certification High school diploma or GED Records management First Aid Certification Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Job Purpose Summary -To prepare, cook and serve nutritious snacks and meals in accordance with State and Child/Adult Care Food Program Nutritional Guidelines. Essential Job Functions (90%)
- Prepare, cook and serve snacks and meals.
- Follow Health Department guidelines for food safety, prep and sanitation, maintain accurate records including daily menus, breakfast, lunch and snack counts, production logs, and temperature logs. Perform food inventory weekly and enter into spread sheet
- Current health card/ Save Serve Training- Certified Food Safety Manager Card preferred
- Must possess High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Clear criminal records background check.
- Clear child abuse and neglect check.
- Certificate in Pediatric First Aid, including management of a blocked airway and rescue breathing.
- Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Watch Me Grow Policy and Procedure handbook.
- Be willing to complete least 30 clock hours per year of job related continuing education in the first year of employment and 24 clock hours per year of job-related continuing education based on individual competency needs each year thereafter.
