Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking menu items following established recipes and standards. Slice, chop, and assemble ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques to ensure consistency and quality. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, mixers, and food processors safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances in accordance with food safety standards. Support meal preparation for various service periods, including lunch, dinner, or catering events. Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene during all stages of food production. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure timely delivery of meals. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or culinary environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus. recipe adherence, and food safety management is important. Strong knife skills and slicing techniques to prepare ingredients efficiently. Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely while maintaining safety standards in production. Experience with food industry standards related to cooking, food handling, and sanitation protocols. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment.
