Job Description
AIP is looking for a Cook to work in Batavia, NY. As directed, independently performs moderately difficult tasks in preparing quantities of quickly prepared foods such as steaks, chops, cutlets, hamburgers, eggs, salads and other similar items. To join our team, apply today!

- Responsibilities
- + Works under the supervision of the Cook II.
- Qualifications
- + A high school diploma or GED is required.
Experience:
- + One year experience in large scale cooking.
Interrelationships:
- + Must have inter/intra communication skills with employees and department heads. Must be able to follow Standard Codes of Conduct pertaining to interaction with detainee population.
Physical Effort:
- + May lift or push up to 50 lbs. For extended periods of time may be required to stand, walk, squat, kneel, sit, bend, reach and climb.
Working Conditions:
- + Work areas may include all areas of the facility. May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and solvents. Works in close proximity to steam or gas ovens and grills that produce intense heat.
