Work Location:
In person Holiday Inn Binghamton is seeking reliable, motivated individuals to join our kitchen team. We currently have openings for a Dishwasher and Breakfast Cook . If you enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment, take pride in cleanliness and food quality, and want to be part of a professional hospitality team, we'd love to meet you.
Dishwasher Responsibilities:
Operate industrial dishwasher and wash glassware/pots by hand when needed Clean and restock kitchen areas for the next shift Empty and clean trash receptacles Clean beverage machines daily Rotate and store dishes properly Maintain dish storage areas Follow all sanitation policies Assist kitchen staff during peak times Perform opening, closing, and side work Clean spills or broken glassware promptly
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy items Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Breakfast Cook Responsibilities:
Set up and stock stations with necessary food and supplies Prepare ingredients (chopping, portioning, sauces, etc.) Cook menu items to chef specifications Follow directions from the executive and sous chef Ensure food quality, consistency, and timely service Clean station and properly store leftovers Maintain inventory and restock as needed Comply with all nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards Maintain a positive, professional attitude with coworkers and guests Perform any additional tasks assigned by management
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Minimum 2 years cooking experience in a restaurant or banquet setting Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/bend/squat for up to 8 hours Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment Accuracy, speed, and familiarity with industry best practices Culinary school diploma preferred but not required
