About Us Thai Smile is a cozy and authentic Thai restaurant in the heart of Canton, NY, offering flavorful dishes made with fresh ingredients and warm hospitality. We're looking for a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team and help us bring the taste of Thailand to our community.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes following restaurant recipes and presentation standards Ensure high quality, consistency, and proper portion control in every dish Manage prep work, including chopping vegetables, making sauces, and marinating proteins Maintain a clean and organized kitchen in compliance with health and safety standards Monitor inventory and notify the manager when ingredients need restocking Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service Occasionally assist with menu development or specials

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a kitchen setting preferred (Thai cuisine experience a plus, but not required) Ability to follow recipes accurately and work in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
