Job Summary Join our dynamic diner team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! Your culinary skills, attention to safety standards, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences. Whether you're chopping, cooking, or plating, your enthusiasm and commitment will help elevate our kitchen operations to new heights. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Execute food preparation tasks such as slicing, dicing, marinating, and portioning with precision and consistency Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and knives Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools in compliance with food safety standards Assist in menu planning by providing feedback on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Support the team during busy service hours by ensuring timely meal production and presentation Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold safety standards in production and storage Qualifications Previous experience in a food service environment, including restaurant or catering experience Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and food preparation methods Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks seamlessly Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required Passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail in recipe adherence and meal presentation Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make an immediate impact!
