he Arc of Chemung-Schuyler is seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-Time Cook to join our Residential Services team. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to prepare nutritious meals that support the health and well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities.
If you enjoy cooking, working independently, and making a positive impact in your community, we'd love to hear from you! Schedule Part-Time Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Approximately 30 hours per week Pay $16.00 - $18.40 per hour , based on experience What You'll Do Prepare meals according to dietary guidelines and individual program requirements Adapt food preparation methods to meet individual needs (chopped, pureed, liquid diets, etc.) Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen Keep food, groceries, and household supplies stocked Complete grocery shopping as needed Monitor and maintain adaptive feeding equipment Maintain food substitution documentation Follow household grocery budgets Report safety concerns promptly Maintain confidentiality and professionalism Qualifications Required Must be at least 18 years old Ability to work independently Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Preferred Previous cooking or food service experience Why Join The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler?
