Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated skilled Barista and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for cooking and preparing various grilled items while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and maintaining a clean workspace. Duties Prepare and cook food items on the grill according to established recipes and standards. Ensure that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, and ovens. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to special requests or dietary restrictions. Experience Previous experience in food service or as a grill cook is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and inventory management. Strong collaboration skills for working effectively with team members in a busy kitchen environment. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards is essential. Excellent customer service skills to enhance the dining experience for guests.
