Our Commitment At Dear Dad's, hospitality is more than service—it is the genuine care we show every guest, every teammate, and every experience. Essential Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, specifications, and presentation standards. Set up, stock, and maintain assigned station before, during, and after each shift. Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner while maintaining quality and consistency. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation following all health and safety regulations. Properly store, label, rotate, and date food products using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices. Monitor food quality and communicate any product shortages or quality concerns to the Kitchen Manager or Chef. Assist with food preparation, receiving deliveries, and inventory as needed. Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service. Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and kitchen procedures. Assist with opening, closing, and deep cleaning duties as assigned. Qualifications 2 years restaurant or culinary experience required; additional training is available for motivated candidates. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and established procedures. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift and carry trays weighing up to 40 pounds. Bend, reach, and move throughout the restaurant efficiently. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
