Whether working in a restaurant, catering environment, or healthcare facility, you'll bring energy and precision to every dish you create. Your culinary expertise will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere and ensure smooth kitchen operations from meal prep to presentation. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of menu items with consistency, adhering strictly to recipes and portion sizes Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen area, including food prep stations and cooking surfaces Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes or modifications based on ingredient availability and customer preferences Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and safety standards in production Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and high-quality food presentation Support catering events or special meal preparations as needed, ensuring all dietary requirements are met Experience Prior experience working in food service environments such as restaurants, catering, or healthcare dietary departments Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production Proven skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and operating various kitchen equipment Experience with meal planning, recipe adherence, and food handling procedures Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff and team members Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities or dietary department operations is a plus Demonstrated knife skills and slicing techniques to ensure efficiency and precision in food prep Join us if you're passionate about creating nourishing meals in a fast-paced environment!
