We're a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen, and we need someone who can keep up on a busy night, work clean, and take pride in every plate that goes out the window. If you thrive under pressure and have real back-of-house experience, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Prepare and cook menu items to spec, consistently and correctly, during high-volume rushes Work multiple stations (grill, fryer, sauté, prep) and move fluidly between them as the shift demands Maintain speed and accuracy on ticket times without sacrificing quality or plating standards Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and kitchen procedures consistently Set up and break down stations, restock and rotate inventory (FIFO), and keep prep levels ahead of service Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station in line with health and safety codes Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to keep service running smoothly Help train and support newer or junior kitchen staff as needed What You Bring Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced restaurant, bar, or similar high-volume kitchen - required Strong knife skills and solid grasp of fundamental cooking techniques Ability to stay calm, organized, and efficient during peak rushes Reliability and punctuality - the kitchen depends on every station being covered Comfort working nights, weekends, and holidays as the schedule requires A team-first attitude and willingness to jump in wherever the kitchen needs help Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards; food handler certification a plus Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Why Beer Bones Join a kitchen team that takes the work seriously without taking itself too seriously.
