This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in serving great food, and works well as part of a team. Our BBQ line team is responsible for helping guests move quickly from order to plate, while maintaining the quality, portions, presentation, and hospitality Dotty Lou's is known for. Responsibilities Work the BBQ service line, including meats, sides, sandwiches, and other menu items Portion and plate food accurately and consistently Assist with slicing, assembling orders, expo, and pickup Keep the service line stocked, clean, organized, and ready for service Follow recipes, portion standards, and food-quality expectations Maintain proper hot- and cold-holding temperatures Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures Refill sauces, sides, packaging, and service-line supplies Assist with opening and closing duties Help with basic food prep as needed Communicate with kitchen, counter, and pickup staff to keep orders moving Provide friendly, efficient service during busy periods Work together with the team to maintain a clean and professional restaurant What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work well with others Attention to cleanliness, quality, and consistency Able to stand for extended periods and lift approximately 40-50 lbs Restaurant or food-service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Availability for nights, weekends, and busy restaurant shifts is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay Paid time off Employee meals Full-time and part-time opportunities Consistent scheduling Opportunity for additional hours and advancement Team-oriented, fast-paced work environment The opportunity to be part of a growing local BBQ restaurant About Dotty Lou's BBQ Dotty Lou's BBQ is focused on quality BBQ, comfort food, great hospitality, and a fast-moving counter-service experience.
