Job Summary Bagel Biz is hiring a seasonal Soup Specialist for the cold months.

WHAT THE JOB IS

Soups, chowders, bisques and chili. That's the whole job — this is not a general line cook position, and you won't be working the grill or the sandwich board. If soup is the thing you're good at, this role is built around it.

AND THE RECIPES ARE YOURS

We're not handing you a binder to follow. We want someone to build the soup lineup from scratch, out of what they already know how to make.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR A

repertoire of soups you already make well Real comfort cooking soup in volume, from scratch Able to scale your own recipes and repeat them exactly Clean, organized, and steady in a working kitchen Reliable — we need to know the soup is happening Prior restaurant, deli, catering or institutional kitchen experience is ideal. Serious home cooking experience at volume will absolutely be considered.

THE DETAILS

Part time, seasonal (through the cold months) Daytime hours — no nights Competitive pay, based on experience Long Island / Suffolk County This is a good fit if you're looking for steady part-time work without a full-time commitment — a set number of days, a defined job, and out the door at a reasonable hour.
