Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of the food service industry. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans. Assist in menu planning, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during meal times. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Skills Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities and meal preparation for various dietary needs. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly in fine dining settings. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using kitchen equipment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
