• 22 per hour, depending on experience Bayfront Marina and Restaurant, a waterfront restaurant and bar located on Port Bay, is seeking dependable and experienced Line Cooks to join our kitchen team under new ownership.

We are working to build a well-run restaurant known for consistently good food, friendly service and a positive atmosphere for both our customers and employees. We are looking for cooks who take pride in their work, work well as part of a team and can maintain quality and consistency during busy periods. Both part-time and full-time schedules are available, generally ranging from 20-40 hours per week . Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Operate grill, fryer, sauté and other kitchen stations as assigned Prepare food accurately and efficiently during busy service periods Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes and presentation Complete food preparation and station setup before service Maintain a clean, organized and properly stocked workstation Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling and rotation procedures Follow food-safety and sanitation requirements Communicate and coordinate with other kitchen employees, servers and management Monitor supplies and notify management when products need to be reordered Minimize food waste and follow portion-control standards Assist with receiving and properly storing food deliveries Complete opening, closing and cleaning duties as assigned Assist other kitchen employees when needed to keep service running smoothly What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will: Have prior line-cook or restaurant-kitchen experience Be dependable and arrive ready to work scheduled shifts Be comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen Be able to follow recipes and established preparation procedures Maintain quality and consistency even during busy periods Have good communication and teamwork skills Maintain a clean and organized work area Be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by restaurant operations Be able to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties normally associated with restaurant kitchen work Experience working grill, fryer, sauté or multiple stations is especially desirable. We will also consider candidates with less experience who demonstrate a strong work ethic, dependability and willingness to learn. About Bayfront Bayfront Marina and Restaurant is an established waterfront restaurant and marina on Port Bay operating under new ownership. We are building a new team and working to make Bayfront a destination for local residents, boaters, fishermen and visitors to the Port Bay area. This is an opportunity to join the restaurant as we build a new operation and establish a positive, professional kitchen culture.

Hours:

Approximately 20-40 hours per week, depending on availability and seasonal business levels.

Pay:

$18

Schedule:
