In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and creativity. Your culinary skills will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your kitchen expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment dedicated to culinary excellence. Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers Follow food safety protocols and handle food properly to ensure cleanliness and prevent contamination Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods Maintain a clean workspace by regularly cleaning utensils, surfaces, and kitchen stations throughout shifts Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Adhere strictly to safety standards during food production, handling hot items, knives, and other equipment with care Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or catering environment is highly preferred Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and food safety management practices Demonstrated proficiency in culinary techniques such as slicing, knife skills, and recipe adherence Experience in meal preparation, food industry operations, or kitchen experience demonstrating versatility in cooking tasks Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation and quality Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams
