Line Cook Orange Spot Bistro Pay:
$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, with occasional after-hours event work Position Summary Orange Spot Bistro is seeking a dependable, hardworking Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will assist with daily food preparation and service while maintaining high standards for food quality, cleanliness, safety, and kosher compliance. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portions, and presentation standards. Set up and maintain an organized, clean, and properly stocked workstation. Assist with daily prep, including vegetables, proteins, sauces, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items as assigned. Ensure food is prepared accurately and efficiently during service. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Hamilton County Health Department requirements. Follow all Orange Spot Bistro kosher policies and procedures and work cooperatively with the Mashgiach and management. Properly label, date, rotate, and store food products. Maintain proper food temperatures and prevent cross-contamination. Clean and sanitize cooking equipment, workstations, utensils, and kitchen areas throughout the shift. Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing food and supplies. Help with catering preparation, setup, execution, and cleanup. Assist with occasional after-hours catered events , with advance notice. Work as part of the kitchen team to maintain efficient ticket times and consistent food quality. Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or General Manager. Qualifications Previous line cook or commercial kitchen experience is preferred. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, dependable attendance, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to learn and follow kosher food-handling requirements. Must be able to stand for extended periods and safely lift approximately 40-50 pounds. Compensation & Schedule $18.00 per hour Regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM . Some after-hours event work will be required based on the Bistro's catering and event schedule.
