We are seeking a compassionate and reliable person to join our team in a group home setting. This position involves working directly with individuals living with mental health conditions to support their daily living and promote independence. Ability to cook for a large group is a must. Organization and ability to keep keep a daily routine is also needed.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and housekeeping Plan and prepare nutritious meals for residents Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment Provide emotional support and encourage client participation in daily routines Monitor client behavior and report changes to clinical staff Oversee residents taking medication at designated times Document daily activities, incidents, and progress notes accurately, medication administration has been completed and documented for all residents Occasionally drive residents to store and activities

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; additional training or certifications in mental health or human services a plus but not required Strong interpersonal skills that include compassion to direct residents Energetic and able to stand for extended periods while performing cooking tasks Cooking experience needed Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Clean driving record Must pass FBI and BCI background check Must not be registered on 6 databases determined by the
