For years, Forno Osteria and Bar Montgomery has been committed to authentic Italian cuisine, scratch cooking, and creating a kitchen culture built on teamwork, consistency, and pride in the craft. We are looking for a motivated Prep Cook who wants to grow in a professional kitchen environment and contribute to a restaurant that values quality and tradition. Position Responsibilities Assist in producing fresh, house-made pasta Follow recipes and kitchen standards consistently Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations Properly label, store, and rotate food products Assist line cooks and chefs during prep and service needs Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Help maintain a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to learn traditional Italian kitchen techniques Supportive and professional team environment Growth opportunities within the kitchen AM shift 5 days a week Closed on Sundays (except Easter and Mother's Day) 70% Company covered medical, dental, and vision insurance for full time employees 401k with 3% match If you are passionate about food, take pride in preparation, and want to be part of a respected Cincinnati restaurant, we'd love to hear from you. Qualifications Previous kitchen prep or restaurant experience preferred Experience making fresh pasta is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and consistency Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Positive attitude and willingness to learn Weekend and evening availability preferred
