Job Description
Bluebird Retirement Community is a locally owned senior living community that is dedicated to improving the lives of our community through our passion for serving seniors! Are you an experienced Cook who is looking to bring smiles to peoples faces with your cuisine every day? We have (1) FULL-Time/Every Other Weekend shifts available! You will help prepare delicious meals according to preset menus for 80+ residents daily. Responsibilities Prepare and store meals on the daily menu. Ensure quality standards are met while minimizing waste Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen Check quality of ingredients Monitor stock and report when there are shotages Required Skills (1) year of high volume cooking experience required Ability to follow all sanitation procedures Ability to work in a team Very good communication skills Diploma from a culinary school or line cook experience will be an advantage
