Duties Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and seasonal specials Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning of ingredients Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently and safely Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related food service role, preferably within a restaurant or catering environment Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Experience with dietary department or dietary aide responsibilities is a plus Familiarity with menu planning, food industry practices, and culinary techniques Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward serving guests Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
