Cook Kingfisher, OK Type Full Time Homestead of Kingfisher is searching for a cook to add to our team. As a Cook with our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive delicious and nutritious meals that cater to their individual needs and preferences. About the
Role:
You will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will also maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhere to food safety guidelines, and assist with meal planning and menu development. Your attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our residents.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menu plans Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety guidelines Assist with meal planning and menu development Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and deadlines Maintain accurate inventory records and ordering supplies Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, and colleagues Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of cooking experience in a senior living or healthcare setting, preferred Knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations, preferred Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, providing excellent customer service How to
