Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Support menu planning efforts by suggesting new ideas and ensuring ingredient availability for daily specials. Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, including storage, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention. Collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely service and exceptional guest satisfaction. Participate in catering events or special functions as needed, providing high-quality meal preparation and presentation. Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable. Proven background in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting. Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
