Line Cook - Pizza Experience a Plus The Haul is looking for an experienced and motivated line cook to join our kitchen team in Downtown Grants Pass. We are a busy gastropub built around a scratch-kitchen model. We believe in making quality, approachable food while maintaining integrity in our craft, and we're looking for someone who wants to work alongside a capable and experienced crew. Line-cook experience is required for this position. You should be comfortable working a busy service, managing your station, communicating with the rest of the kitchen, and producing consistent food to The Haul's standards. Pizza experience — particularly wood-fired pizza — is a strong plus, but not required. For the right cook, there is an opportunity to cross-train and work our pizza station as well. Because we are a scratch kitchen, this is not a service-only position. Prep is part of the job. We are looking for someone who understands that a strong service starts with good prep, organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail. We're looking for someone who: Has solid professional line-cook experience Can stay organized and composed during busy service Produces food consistently and takes pride in quality Communicates well with the kitchen and FOH team Is comfortable with scratch-kitchen prep Keeps a clean, organized, and sanitary station Is dependable and works well as part of a team Is willing to jump in and help where needed Has pizza or wood-fired oven experience — a definite plus We have a strong kitchen crew and are looking for someone who can contribute to that team rather than simply work their own station.
