Job Description

Eclaire Health is a snack and chocolate manufacturer in Gresham, Oregon. We make everything from nougat bars and caramels to enrobed chocolate pieces. We are looking for someone from the culinary world, a pastry cook, chocolatier, or candy maker who wants to bring their craft into a daytime manufacturing environment.

This is a flexible position that can be part-time or full-time, depending on your schedule. If you are currently working nights at a restaurant and want to add daytime hours doing work you actually love, this could be a great fit.

What You'll DoMake confectionery samples, including nougats, caramels, and chocolate pieces, following established recipesEnrobe and finish chocolate products by hand and with equipmentWork closely with our R D lead to refine recipesFollow recipes precisely and document results accuratelyMaintain a clean and organized kitchen workspaceWho You AreYou have worked in a professional kitchen at a serious level in pastry, chocolate, candy, or confectionsYou have a strong palate and care deeply about how things tasteYou are precise and detail oriented. You notice when something is slightly off, and you fix it.

You are comfortable following a recipe exactly and also bringing your own ideas when askedYou are looking for daytime hours and a more predictable scheduleYou do not need a food science degree. You need real hands on kitchen experience with high quality ingredients.
