Job Description
Broder Øst is seeking an experienced full-time Line Cook to join our breakfast and lunch team in Hood River. We are a high-volume, recipe-driven kitchen with a unique Scandinavian-inspired menu. We value consistency, teamwork, and clean execution. This role is ideal for a dependable cook who takes pride in doing things the right way and wants steady daytime work in a well-run kitchen. This is not a chaotic, late-night line. We run a focused service, support each other, and expect professionalism. What You'll Do Execute menu items accurately and efficiently according to established recipes Set up, maintain, and break down a clean, organized station Prep ingredients (wash, chop, portion, label) with attention to detail Work confidently during high-volume breakfast/lunch services Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times Communicate clearly with the team during service Assist with prep and side work to support overall kitchen flow Monitor station levels and proactively communicate needs What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Line Cook in a professional kitchen Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong understanding of food safety and organization Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency Reliable attendance and punctuality Calm, professional demeanor during busy service Team-oriented mindset Details Full-Time Day shifts required (no late nights) In person — Hood River, OR 97031 30-40 hours per week Benefits Competitive pay: $25-$30/hour DOE Employee discount Paid training Flexible scheduling Supportive, accountable kitchen culture If you're a solid cook looking for steady daytime work in a professional kitchen with clear standards and a strong team, we'd love to meet you.
