Job Description
Located in Klamath Falls, OR Cook Job Description We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to support daily kitchen operations and ensure high-quality meals are prepared and served efficiently. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare, cook, season, and portion food according to recipes and established standards. Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, measuring, and organizing food items. Assist with meal preparation, plating, and timely food service. Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, countertops, utensils, and work areas. Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen utensils as needed. Stock and organize food, supplies, and kitchen inventory. Properly store and label food items and monitor freshness. Assist with receiving deliveries and putting away supplies. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen throughout the shift. Dispose of trash and maintain overall kitchen cleanliness. Work cooperatively with kitchen staff and assist with additional duties as needed. Qualifications Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred. Knowledge of basic food preparation and safe food-handling practices. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain one, if required.
