15 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am $0.94 extra for working weekends Position Summary The Cook performs a variety of duties related to cooking and preparing short-order food items. They may prepare regular and modified diet items for patients, cafeteria, and catering, and will prepare food set forth for tray-line, cafeteria, and catering to meet HASAP and quality guidelines. They also serve food using standard menus and production sheets, with the appropriate sauces and garnishes, and at their proper temperatures and times, and all catered foods are served at their proper time with a high degree of presentation (not overcooked, overfilled, cold, hot, sauced, or garnished incorrectly). Qualifications Experience Minimum 1 year of cooking or line prep experience is required Hospital or other large institutional experience preferred Licensure/Certifications An Oregon Food Handler Card issued by the Oregon Department of Health or SERV Safe Certification issued by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation is required Total Rewards We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support your well-being and professional growth, including:
