Not every great cook wants a traditional schedule—and that's okay. We're looking for an On-Call Cook to join our dietary team at a skilled nursing facility. What "On-Call" Means This is not a position with a set weekly schedule. Instead, you'll have the opportunity to pick up available shifts as they become available due to vacations, call-offs, increased census, or other staffing needs. It's a great option for someone looking for flexibility while still being part of a dedicated team. What You'll Do Prepare and serve nutritious, appetizing meals for our residents. Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and therapeutic diet requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen. Work alongside dietary aides and the healthcare team to provide an excellent dining experience. Follow food safety and infection control standards. What We're Looking For Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen, healthcare, or similar environment is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Dependable, flexible, and willing to pick up shifts as needed. A positive attitude and a team-first mindset. Passion for serving others through great food.
