Full-Time Faithful Staffing Solutions is currently hiring a dependable and hardworking Prep Cook / Food Production Worker for a food manufacturing client located in Milwaukie, Oregon . This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can follow recipes and written production instructions, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment. The Prep Cook will assist with preparing, measuring, portioning, and organizing ingredients used throughout the production process while maintaining food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients according to recipes and production specifications Measure, weigh, portion, cut, and organize ingredients Follow written recipes and production instructions accurately Assist with daily food preparation and production needs Handle food products safely and according to established procedures Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality-control requirements Properly label, store, and organize ingredients and prepared products Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies Work efficiently to meet daily production goals Communicate and work effectively with supervisors and team members Assist with cleaning and sanitation duties as needed Perform other production and food-preparation duties as assigned Qualifications Must be able to read and write in English to understand recipes, labels, safety information, and written production instructions Previous prep cook, kitchen, restaurant, catering, food manufacturing, or food production experience is preferred Ability to accurately follow recipes and instructions Strong attention to detail Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Comfortable performing repetitive tasks Ability to stand and work for extended periods Willingness to follow all food safety and sanitation requirements
