Restaurant experience is helpful, but it is not required — we are willing to train the right person. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, works well with others, learns quickly, and takes pride in preparing great food. You will be trained on our recipes, cooking methods, kitchen procedures, food safety standards, and equipment. This is a fast-paced restaurant environment, so being reliable, staying organized, and being willing to help your team are extremely important. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to Spicee Bite recipes and standards. Follow recipes, portion sizes, and preparation procedures to ensure food is consistent every time. Complete food prep, including cutting vegetables, preparing ingredients, sauces, proteins, and other kitchen items. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation. Follow proper food safety, temperature, storage, and sanitation procedures. Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner periods. Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift. Assist with dishes, cleaning, prep, and other kitchen responsibilities when needed. Communicate with other team members to keep orders moving quickly and accurately. Help with catering and large orders when needed. Learn new menu items and cooking techniques through hands-on training. What We're Looking For No professional cooking experience required — training is provided. Restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus. Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts. Willing to learn and follow established recipes and procedures. Able to work quickly while maintaining food quality. Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Able to stay productive without needing constant supervision. Willing to clean and help wherever needed. Available to work evenings, weekends, and other scheduled shifts as needed. Basic knife skills are helpful, but we can provide training. What Makes Someone Successful at Spicee Bite You don't need to come in knowing everything. We're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, learns, and cares about doing the job correctly.
