We are looking for candidates willing to work full time, days, nights, weekends, and some holidays. Personal qualities of an ideal candidate - our biggest priorities Ability to maintain a positive attitude even under stress Be a team player Maintain a customer service-oriented mindset Possess excellent communication and listening skills Willingness to take initiative Have the desire to constantly improve Day-to-Day responsibilities Show up on time Be clean, presentable, ready to work Prepare your station for the day Complete any necessary prep Work safely, cleanly, and efficiently Follow recipes and prepare food to meet all company standards Accommodate special guest requests, as necessary Communicate with your team to ensure food is coming out at the right times Complete any closing tasks for your shift Comply with all food handling and food safety standards Run customer dish and glassware through dishwasher, as necessary Wash food prep items Interact with guests in a professional manner, as necessary Willingness to be cross-trained in other areas of the brewpub Other responsibilities as required Follow all company policies and procedures Desired skills and experience Knife skills and experience with basic cooking techniques and equipment 1+ years' experience in a high volume kitchen Passionate about staying up-to-date on the latest food trends Ability to assess needs and prioritize accordingly Valid food handlers card or ability to get one ServSafe certification is a plus Physical and mental requirements Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for prolonged periods of time Ability to read and follow written English instructions Ability to safely navigate small spaces and crowded areas Ability to routinely twist, turn, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, and crawl Ability to move supplies and equipment using appropriate techniques, tools, and/or assistance Compensation and benefits Competitive hourly wage dependent on responsibilities Tip share Discounted meals and other perks Tip Share Compensation includes hourly wage plus tip share.
