Your energy, culinary skills, and attention to food safety will ensure a seamless dining experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where every meal is an opportunity to showcase your passion for food. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish Assist with menu planning by suggesting creative ideas and ensuring ingredient availability for daily specials and regular offerings Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently and safely Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines Support food service operations by plating dishes attractively and timely for service periods Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours and special catering events Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with specialized meal preparation needs Proven restaurant or kitchen experience showcasing strong culinary skills, including knife skills and meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food industry or catering environments Experience in menu planning, food handling, cooking, and food service operations is preferred Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards Familiarity with food industry equipment and tools used in professional kitchens Join us as a vital part of our culinary team where your skills will shine!
